Project Name: eSivandeni Access Road

Tenders are hereby invited for the construction of a new 3.6 km long 5m wide gravel road with associated
storm water management in eSivandeni village in Ward 4. 1.9 km of the total road length is new whereas 1.7 km is existing
but will need reshaping, regravelling and surfacing of approxiamtely 140 m on a steep grade. The minimu specifications are
detailed in the Tender Document. Tenderers should be registered and have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 4CE or higher
and appropriate experience in gravel roads construction. The works shall be completed within 16 weeks.
Tender documents will be available on Friday 12 March 2010 at 11h00 from the Cashier's office in the uMzumbe municipal offices at
Mathulini MPCC, Sipofu Road, Umthwalume upon payment of a non-refundable fee of R250 for each document either in cash or by means of a
bank guaranteed cheque made payable to uMzumbe Municipality. The municipal offices can be contacted by using the following telecommunication

A compulsory site inspection will be held punctually at 10h00 on Wednesday 17 March 2010 and prospective tenderers are to meet the engineer at the

Completed tender documents are to be placed in a sealed envelope marked: eSivandeni Access Raod: umz-02T-2010 and must be deposited
in the Tender Box at the offices of uMzumbe Municipality, Turton, not later 12h00 on Friday 26 March 2010. The tenders will be opened in public soon after
closure and only the name and the tender amount will be read out. The following points will be awarded:

Tenderers shall take note of the following Tender Conditions:

Tenders are hereby invited for the construction of Umkhaliphi Bakery. The minimum specifications are detailed in the Tender Document.
Tenderers should be registered and have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 3GB or higher. An original valid tax clearance certificate
of the South African Revenue Services to be submitted with the completed Bid and appropriate experience in building construction.
The works shall be completed within 12 weeks. Tender documents will be available on Thursday 18 March 2010 at 09h00 from the Cashier's office in the
Umzumbe municipal offices at Mathulini MPCC, Sipofu Road, Umthwalume upon payment of a non-refundable fee of R250 for each document either in cash or by means
of a bank guaranteed cheque made payable to Umzumbe Municipality.
