ADMINISTRATION
The administration is the technical entity of the municipality which comprises of the officials that manage
the day-to-day operations of the municipality.
These are the people with the expertise in developing and implementing the systems and policies of the
municipality as per the mandate of the political leadership (council).
The administration / management of the municipality is headed by the municipal manager and it is divided
into four (4) departments, as of the newly developed organogram structured as follows:
Executive Committee (Exco)
- Office of the Municipal Manager: Mr. T.B. Mbhele (Municipal Manager)
- Finance, Budget Control & Treasury Department: Mr. K. Audan (Chief Financial Officer – CFO)
- Corporate Services Department: Mrs. R.T.P Shezi (Director: Corporate Services)
- Technical Services Department: Mr. C. Mqoboli (Director: Technical Services)
- Social & Economic Services Department: Mr D. Khuzwayo (Acting Director: Social & Economic Development)
